Do you have bats roosting in your church? Have you ever seen a grounded or injured bat and you didn't know what to do?

Gail Armstrong, an experienced bat carer, will talk through the essentials of bat first aid. You'll have the opportunity to see some bats and to learn about the way they live, and their adaptations that make them suited for that lifestyle.

We'll cover:

  • An overview of bat anatomy and life cycle
  • Reasons why bats can be found grounded or injured
  • When to intervene
  • Basic first aid and where to go to get help
