Langford, St Giles

The Church

St. Giles is a Grade II* building, unique for its medieval western apse.

The church was restored in 1882 when a north aisle with crypt beneath was added, as was a vestry and bell tower.

The parish is small and dispersed. There is an active friends’ group which fundraises and hosts events.

The Bats

There have been bats roosting behind the organ. The church community has little bother from them and is content to co-exist.
