Working With Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of many churches, bat groups and community projects. This short course gives advice on recruiting volunteers, planning tasks and workload and making sure your volunteers stay motivated and feel valued.

Time to complete: Approx. 1 hour in total (you can do this at your own pace and do not need to complete all modules in one sitting) 

The course consists of five short modules:

Module 1: Introduction and deciding what you want from your volunteers

Module 2: Volunteers and types of volunteering

Module 3: Recruiting and training new volunteers

Module 4: Supporting your volunteers

Module 5: Dealing with issues, practice scenarios and discussion
